Here's How It Works... To install concrete curbing, a shallow 12 inch wide x 1½ - 2½ inch trench is excavated along the desired curbing lines with a sod cutter. The concrete is transported by wheel barrows from our street-side mixer, to the extrusion machine. From there it is shoveled into a hopper and pressed through our specially designed molds. Our operators guide the extrusion machine above the excavated channel, laying the curb precisely along those lines. The soft concrete is then hand finished to achieve a smooth texture. Overlay colors, surface stamping patterns and sealer are applied at this time. The finished product is a long lasting installment and will add distinctive color and flair to any yard, garden or commercial landscaping project.
